The Role
They are currently looking for a HSE Business Partner at a very exciting time in the WA business.

A new facility is due to come on line end of Q1 2023 and a full setup of procedures is required.

This will mean ensuring all policies are up to date for the new facility, emergency procedures, induction of new staff, training on new equipment etc.


A thrilling time to get things correctly set up and create a strong safety culture for the new premises inline with company policies and best practices around safety, wellbeing and risk.

In addition, the original site will be in full operation and will require attention to the business as usual activities.

Your ongoing role will work collaboratively on site with the business leaders to provide technical & practical HSE advice and coaching to establish and maintain a safety culture focused on risk management, injury management and continual improvement


Other responsibilities include:

  • Champion compliance, safety leadership values and behaviours
  • Conduct data analytics and draw insights that inform and drive continuous improvement
  • Oversee the effective implementation of the injury management program and minimise the social and economic harm caused by workplace injury and illness
  • Contribute to the shift in HSE culture and engagement and actively promote a safe & healthy work environment

About You

You will have a broad knowledge of HSE to be able to advise and coach the site and the leadership team through HSE improvement.

You will need to interpret legislation and guidelines to make practical and commercially viable recommendations to the sites, be highly collaborative and consultative in your approach and be excellent in building professional relationships.


You will take full control of all the health and safety requirements for getting the new site online and to standard.

You will work with compassion, understanding and support as you help the leaders and workforce transition through these significant changes.


You will have:

  • Relevant degree in WHS or similar
  • Rights ton work in Australia
  • Experience in training
  • Feed / Food production experience would be highly regarded.
