Due to new projects and growth, our Not-For-Profit client is seeking a Senior System and IT Support person to join their small team based in the Melbourne CBD.

Working closely with the CIO, you will be the 2IC person to assist with the overseeing the business processes and systems to enable the smooth function of IT Operations.

This role works with team members and service providers to improve the effectiveness of internal communication and information management while providing hands on technical support across the business.

This role has variety and flexibility, is close to public transport, cafes and offers a hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days in the office).

There is no out of hours support as the majority of the level 1/2/3 is provided by the managed service providers for Cloud and Helpdesk Services.

You will have one direct report who is a junior level 1 service desk person.

They are a very friendly team and there is plenty of new project work to cover immediately with 20+ new small to medium sized project in the pipeline over the next few years.

Strong commercial experience 5+ years supporting Microsoft suite of products such as Azure, MS 365, Power BI and MS Dynamics.
Experience with setting goals and strategies to ensure IT departments are running smoothly
Experience assisting with the development, maintenance and enforcement of physical and cyber security policies and practices i

e:
data privacy and corporate assets.

Experience with managing service providers or have worked at one would be a bonus.
Be a selfstarter and have a great customer service attitude
Excellent communication skills.
