    Commercial Manager, Energy and Public Works - Brisbane City, Australia - Queensland Government

    Description

    QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations, and correctional and health facilities.

    Key responsibilities:


    1. Providing accurate and timely advice to the Regional Business Director and section leaders on commercial aspects of the region's operation including financial performance such as revenue and expenditure forecasting, resourcing, profitability of the region, partner programs and projects, as well as financial compliance.
    2. Coordinating the commercial activities and performance of the region through compiling budgets and monitoring the region's performance, especially work order.
