The Opportunity


In partnership with the ADF and the Commonwealth, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) provides aircraft maintenance and upgrades, component maintenance solutions, technical support, mission-critical infrastructure support and training on some of the most capable surveillance, command, control, and combat platforms in the world.


BDA is looking for a
Logistics Data Specialist to support the most modern and capable configuration of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter.

The role is to be based in Enoggera, Brisbane with the Army customer in an integrated Attack Helicopter System Program Office (AHSPO).

As a
Logistics Data Specialist within BDA, you will

  • Lead the collection, storage and distribution of logistics data to key stakeholders.
  • Manage Apache aircraft logistics data collection and storage.
  • Provide expert advice on developing data interface requirements for the various defence logĂ­stical tools.
  • Assist in the development of required logistics data exchanges for the Apache capability.
  • Assist in the interpretation of logistics data for key stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying patterns and trends in data sets.
  • Work with Defence stakeholders to establish future data requirements.
  • Manage the quality, configuration control and governance compliance of the logistics data that is collected and stored.
  • Provide recommendations on improvements in data management and data utility for the Apache Capability.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
  • Experience in data models and reporting packages.
  • Ability to analyse large datasets.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of data and data analytics to support complex systems.
  • An understanding of Defence data management policies.
  • Expected AASB

Engineering Authority:
Logistics Engineer.***
