About the role

Safety is our number one priority at the Glen Eira Works Depo, and our Workshop Supervisor will bring their knowledge and expertise in machinery maintenance and guidelines, to ensure the ongoing safety to our staff and community.

Our Workshop Supervisor will oversee the daily operations and tasks handled by our Fleet Maintenance team.

You will develop and review work scheduling, report relevant findings to Fleet/Works Management, and preparing and maintaining scheduling for 540 plant items for regular servicing.


  • Other responsibilities include_:
  • Ensuring adequate provision of appropriate tools, equipment and materials for the team.
  • Liaising with all levels of staff ranging from Management through to team members in relation to equipment and vehicles being used to be repaired.
  • Maintaining MSDS register and keeping chemical system ChemAlert up to date.
  • Auditing parts and stock for spot audits.

About you

We are looking for an individual with substantial automotive industrial knowledge and agricultural industrial repair knowledge to guide the Fleet maintenance team.

Your strong leadership and motivation for all staff participation in operational decision making will secure the ongoing success for the team.

  • Substantial work experience and qualifications in the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record in supervising staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A current Victorian Driver's Licence.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite and general computer usage.
  • Level 1 First Aid Certificate.
  • Medium Rigid Truck Licence.
  • A current Forklift Licence

  • Experience in the usage of the AusFleet Programming System.
