THE ROLE

Are you:


  • Purpose driven and passionate about delivering great outcomes for people, the Victorian community, and the natural environment.
  • A customer service, maintenance and/or a facilities management professional with demonstrated experience leading a team to deliver services, implement programs, prepare budgets, procure contractors, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed and engaged in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Solutionsfocused leader with a track record of successfully delivering high value social infrastructure services.
  • A peopleoriented leader with an ability to build a teambased approach, facilitate collaboration and cooperation among team.


The Manager Maintenance Assurance and Property Condition is responsible for delivery of compliance and monitoring functions relating to property condition audits and maintenance contracts.

The role involves the provision of professional advice, management of project staff and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.

A high standard of project co-ordination is required to ensure the implementation of systems to facilitate continuous improvement and that key performance indicators are delivered.


ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Oversee local delivery of integrated, multidisciplinary services that provide holistic client outcomes and ensure they meet statewide departmental and government objectives, budget considerations and community expectations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of issues impacting the department's clients and investigate and lead critical projects that develop and review policies, professional standards, and operating practices to enhance service delivery, budget effectiveness, efficiency, and improved client outcomes.
  • Forge strong connections across the department and with external stakeholders and collaborate on the strategic design and development of departmental objectives that impact statewide or significant localised service delivery to ensure effective, efficient, and coordinated services are provided for all clients
