Hr Partners exclusive client within the Government sector is seeking a People Services & HRIS Operations Manager to join their close knit HR team.

Our client has a long line of historical roots within Victoria, and operates to illuminate, sustain and promote Melbourne's cultural heritage.

The position of People & HRIS Operations Manager is a unique blend of HR Generalist & HRIS Operations responsibilities.

Reporting into the Director of People & Culture, this position is a Permanent Full Time position at a VPS 5 classification.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Aurion in the cloud Intergration process (HRIS Implementation) / key process improvement projects such as the transition towards electronic employee files project,
paperless onboarding and commencing the groundwork for the use of artificial intelligence

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the People Services team and oversight of generalist HR activities, including managing and coordinating commencements, terminations, contract preparation, record keeping and recruitment administration.
  • Lead the creation, development and communication of a suite of HR workforce data metrics and analytics that enhance organisationwide decisionmaking, mitigate risk and create engagement.
  • Provide responsive and sound strategic advice to staff and management on a wide range of People & Culture functions, while ensuring that the enterprise agreement, policies and procedures are consistently adhered to.
  • Lead the management of key HR systems
  • Develop and implement people & culture business processes, work instructions and training materials
to support these HR systems.

  • Provide strategic advice that supports the development of key People & Culture policies
and procedures.


About you:


Ideally, you will have experience implementing / managing HRIS projects (Aurion experience will be very highly regarded but not essential).

In addition.

  • Experience and proven knowledge of relevant lefistlation, regulations and common HR Practices
  • Demonstrated expertise in extracting and analysing workforce data
  • Prior HR experience working at an Advisory / Business Partner level
