About the role


Reporting to the People Partner, your role as
People Advisor will be responsible for providing accurate and timely advice and coaching to business partners and employees across the full range of generalist HR/people issues, whilst ensuring HR practices are compliant with Aruma's policies and processes, along with relevant legislative requirements.

You will have a strong focus employee relations and performance management.

Integral to your success will be your customer focused people practices and your ability to role model our organisational values.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with Talent Advisors for recruitment and selection or Recover at Work Advisors for Workers Compensation/Workcover or Learning for capability building
  • Monitor activity to drive operational excellence in core people activities (probation periods, leave liability reduction, core training completion)
  • Facilitate the generation of contracts, onboarding and probationary actions of new employees
  • Assist with workers compensation claims in liaison with the Recover at Work Advisor including supporting the recover at work actions
  • Complete reporting, documentation and administrative requirements following standard procedures and fully using available technology

About you

  • Degree qualified in Human Resources or similar field
  • Professional experience (5+ years) in a fastpaced environment including HR administration, attraction and retention, workplace change, employee relations, and performance management
  • Sound knowledge of the statutory and regulatory framework in which employee relations operates
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including delivering
- presentations and facilitating group work

  • Have conflict resolution skills and be solutions focused
