CBD based, WFH flexibility (2-3 days per week)

  • 3 month role initially (potential to extend/or permanency)

Australian owned not for profit with a global presence on the lookout for a Payroll Manager to join the business on an interim basis.

There is potential for this role to extend or go permanent

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be required to join the business immediately on an interim basis.

As Payroll Manager, you will lead a team of 2 and oversee a Payroll of circa 800 employees paid on a fortnightly basis.


You will be required to manage an outsourced Payroll provider and oversee all Payroll functions including payroll tax, superannuation payments, payroll reports, workers compensation as well as manage changes to awards/conditions and terminations.


In addition you will provide advice to the business on Payroll and IR matters and you will be required to be across legislative changes.

You will also be required to lead and mentor the team, and build a collaborative work enviroment.


To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 3 years experience working as a Payroll Manager.

You will have a strong understanding of payroll processes and tax laws. Previous experience working with an oursourced Payroll provider will be advantageous. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous completion of similar interim contracts to a high standard will be looked upon favourably.
