Position Information:


Rosehill Public School is located in Western Sydney and has approximately 660 students K-6 and 80 part time preschool students and caters for the needs of a culturally diverse community with high aspirations for their children's learning success.

90% of students at Rosehill Public School come from a non-English speaking background. The school is organised into stage and grade-based learning teams led by a dedicated and skilled executive team.

Explicit, personalised and differentiated teaching in literacy and numeracy, underpinned by strong implementation of current research into effective teaching and its impact on learning, are focus areas in our school.


Our purposeful structures of cooperative planning, collective teacher efficacy and instructional leadership are strongly underpinned by high quality data-driven practice.

Curriculum implementation in the Key Learning Areas is informed by evidence-based teaching practice.

Selection Criteria:


Approval to teach infants and primary with the ability to implement high-quality sport programs, literacy and numeracy programs, in line with the teaching and learning cycle.


Demonstrated commitment to develop a creative, inclusive and positive learning environment to enhance the learning and wellbeing of all students from diverse backgrounds.


Highly developed communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate, build, and maintain effective partnerships with students, teachers and parents of a diverse community.

Demonstrated capacity and skills to implement high quality extracurricular programs including, sport, creative arts and public speaking.
