Swinburne is embarking on an exciting journey, working towards our new vision of bringing people and technology together to build a better world.

In support of our student engagement and retention objectives, we have an exciting opportunity for a digitally led communications professional to join the Student Engagement & Retention Journey Squad as Communications Specialist.


With strong campaign management skills and a 'get it done' attitude, you'll join a team of fellow comms, content and web dynamos to build out end-to-end customer journeys for key current student audience segments, contributing to our student engagement and retention goals.


About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • You've got plenty of experience executing communications campaigns across multiple channels.
  • You juggle priorities, deadlines and stakeholders like a pro.
  • You take pride in your work; you're meticulous with your planning, and execute with care, when preparing and delivering your communications campaigns.
  • You don't break a sweat when asked to produce a comms plan, work on audience data segmentation, and plan dynamic content to personalise communications.
  • You adopt a customercentric approach that considers the overall user journey when planning out campaign activity.
  • You're a savvy user of data to inform decision making and to optimise campaigns.
  • You're comfortable writing and editing copy for a range of tactics, and when reviewing supplied copy you know exactly when it's nailed the brief.

Qualifications

  • A degree in communications or related fields with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
