Our Regional and Agribusiness banking team (RAB) are passionately committed to supporting businesses across Australia and helping to build and enhance the financial well-being of our regional communities.

The RAB teams provides a comprehensive range of services to over 25,000 relationships located in Regional Australia and our business offering is key to supporting a diverse range of businesses across Australia.

With more than 70 centres throughout Australia, our customers are at the heart of everything we do.

You will draw upon your enthusiasm for Agribusiness matched with your strategic mindset and market knowledge to deliver sustainable growth initiatives to the RAB business.

Responsibilities include

Contribute to a team that has oversight of the Agribusiness portfolio performance and deliver insights to internal partners on this.
Develop and influence strategy and direction of the agribusiness portfolio and subsectors, including initiatives for the portfolio such as drought, flood and fire responses to support our Agribusiness teams.
Develop, influence and execute growth initiatives to support the business, drive process and policy improvements
Undertake market research and gap analysis, identify growth opportunities in line with risk policy and appetite of the RAB business
Engage with internal stakeholders and provide input into media, government and political relations communications to ensure they are fit for purpose
Support the creation and delivery of content which uplifts the capability of our Agribusiness team
Support develop and execute on learning and capability programmes for our frontline team

We're interested in hearing from people who have

Agribusiness industry experience and an awareness of key challenges, as well as a passion for the sector
Excellent strategic execution skills, with an ability to think outside of the box and multitask
Detailsoriented while able to see the bigger picture, strong commercial acumen and able to deliver on multiple and connected initiatives
Stakeholder management skills, the ability to influence and lead change and engage with people at all levels across the business
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, confident presentation skills
Understanding of the role of a frontline banker highly desirable, Agribusiness experience essential.
