  • Pay: $35 Per hour


A loving and professional family in Hendra are seeking a bubbly, fun and nurturing nanny to care for their easy going, fun and active children, 11 year old boy and 10 year old girl.

**The days and normal hours are: - 3pm - 6pm (5 days preferred), however Nanny chooses days - flexible on which days**Extra hours offered during school holiday periods

Monday 3.00pm - 6.00pm

Tuesday 3.00pm - 6.00pm

Wednesday 3.00pm - 6.00pm

Thursday 3.00pm - 6.00pm

Friday 3.00pm - 6.00pm

An ideal nanny will be fun and have positive energy though also caring, calm and nurturing. A nanny who enjoys engaging, being active and having fun with the children.

You will need to show initiative, be a good listener/communicator follow the children's routines/schedules and provide stimulating and creative activities.

The family have a pet dog so the nanny must be comfortable with dogs


The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows-

  • To care for the children
  • Follow children's routines/schedules
  • Collect children from school
  • Assist with homework
  • Drive to after school activities
  • Meal preparation for children's dinner
  • Take the dog for walks
  • Assist with some light household duties
  • Generally keeping main areas clean and tidy

The family's expectations from their nanny are-

  • Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny/child care experience
  • Childcare qualifications
  • Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
  • Have a current working with children's check number
  • Display strong communication skills and speak English
  • To be fit, healthy and active
  • Police Check
  • Honest and reliable
  • Non smoking
  • QLD Drivers Licence and clean driving record
