About the Opportunity
In this hands-on and high energy role you will plan, and implement our organisation wide recognition and connection program, coordinate our Graduate Program, develop internal communications content, promote our employee value proposition (EVP), and coordinate student placement programs.
We are looking for someone who has an engaging and personable working style that is naturally collaborative, flexible and considerate of alternate views, ideas and ways of working.
This is an exciting opportunity to have an impact on our employee connection and recognition offerings and events at City of Adelaide.
Some of the day-to-day things you may see yourself doing include:
- Designing and delivering an organisation wide recognition program such as the Annual Awards and End of Year Events.
- Working across the organisation to coordinate and promote our Graduate Program.
- Coordinating and developing internal communications and providing advice and support to the organisation around developing internal communications content.
- Designing and delivering a program of benefits and activities that enhance City of Adelaide's reputation; these include coordinating and promoting a suite of employee benefits, building connections with Universities to deliver student placement programs, and working closely with City of Adelaide's Talent and Acquisition Advisor to communicate our benefits through our recruitment processes.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong communication, project or event management and relationship building skills
- A creative, flexible and adaptable approach to working with employees across the organisation
- Capability in developing engaging communications, social media content, filming and editing
- Experience coordinating and organising quality projects or events that are fun, meaningful and inclusive
- An understanding of what drives and motivates employees, and having the ability to translate this into practical resources and offerings
- Experience designing and facilitating group workshops, online and face to face
- A passion for employee connection, communication and development

Please be advised this is a part time 0.8FTE, fixed term parental leave cover opportunity until March 2025, with a starting salary at the Level 6 classification commencing at $97,944 (pro rata) + 11% superannuation.
