    The Business

    Our client is a forward thinking builder with a unique and innovative design approach when it comes to their homes.

    Poised for sustainable growth and opportunity this builder largely focuses on the wholesale markets to sell their products in the house and land space.

    This group is currently embarking on establishing their our own in-house estimating division, we are looking for a talented Estimator to lead this exciting new venture for the business.

    This is a role which will require the successful person to be "hands on" estimating but also have the ability to set up new systems and processes.

    About the role

    • Develop and implement efficient estimating systems and processes to enhance workflow accuracy and efficiency
    • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for residential construction projects, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing and timely delivery of materials
    • Leverage various estimating software tools such as PlanSwift Buildertrend and Databuild to improve accuracy and workflow
    • Work closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience as an Estimator in the residential construction industry.
    • Exposure in either Planswift, Buildertrend and Databuild would be highly regarded.
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with suppliers and internal teams
    • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
