We are looking for a driven individual with experience in Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, or any front-line position with a passion to move into a sales role.

The Sales Specialist is responsible for driving new sales revenue across Pacific by selling our Research and Portfolio Management (buyside) solutions to both existing and new clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Proactively drive pipeline creation and gross sales
  • Hunter mentality ability to source leads and contacts for the respective client segment
  • Structure, negotiate and close deals, working closely with presales and account teams.
  • Help develop, and then execute on, a sales strategy within your defined territory
  • Provide insights and share Refinitiv thought leadership on buy side workflow with customers
  • Deliver customer demonstrations on applicable solutions.
  • Act as the 'voice of the customer' by feeding back product and content requirements to our proposition team


Experience- 5 or more years of experience preferably within the buy side sector in a front-line quota bearing role- Understanding of the buy side workflow including research portfolio management especially within the asset management and asset owner [superannuation] community- Knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings within the buy side- A self-starter with a proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to interact with customers in a consultative, face-to-face selling environment in a way that builds value for the customer and facilitates opportunities for future sales- Ability to work optimally in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and rapidly growing product sales environment- Critical thinking skills; demonstrated ability to plan and execute sales strategies- A Great Teammate - ability to collaborate with multiple internal partners to win sophisticated deals

Knowledge & Skill- Specialist, experienced professional with extensive knowledge and skills gained through wide-ranging experiences in a field that requires diverse practices or procedures- Recognized expert in their functional area or geography- Deep knowledge of complex product, market and function in own area- In-depth understanding of a Business Unit or function- Works on issues of a diverse scope where analysis of situations requires skills and understanding of current industry trends- Mandarin/Cantonese speaker is a plus due to client coverage

Scope of Impact- Leads significant projects, programs and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity- Determines work priorities based on general direction from managers- May manage budget for projects or programs within area- Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts and Business Unit strategy- Provides specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues
