The Opportunity


As an ERP Support and Data Analyst, you are an integral member of the ERP team, primarily responsible for assisting with data-related tasks, ensuring data integrity, and providing support functions to internal stakeholders.

Your role will support a more senior colleague and collaborate with a broader team, offering ample opportunities for skill development and growth.


The Role

  • Input and update data within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to source and prepare required data.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, anomalies, or areas for improvement.
  • Assist with building and maintaining reports or data extracts using SQL.
  • Participate in ERP related projects are required by the ERP department and/or CIO
  • Serve as the first point of contact for basic ERPrelated queries from internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to the ERP system or escalate as needed.
  • Collaborate with the senior team members in more complex problem resolution.
  • Document Standard Operating Procedures
  • Document common issues and solutions to create a knowledge base for faster resolution in the future.
  • Work closely with departments to understand their data requirements and ensure they are met.
  • Provide training and guidance to users to maximise the efficient use of the ERP system.
  • Participate in the evaluation of the current ERP system and suggest improvements.
  • Develop, generate, and maintain reports that support business functions, utilising SQL and other tools.
  • Present data findings in clear, understandable formats suitable for various audiences.

About You

  • Basic understanding of ERP platforms, enabling initial data interactions and foundational problemsolving.
  • Ability to analyse sets of data at a fundamental level to identify common patterns or inconsistencies.
  • Basic proficiency in using SQL for simple data tasks, with an eagerness to learn more advanced functions over time.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to addressing challenges, seeking guidance when necessary, and learning through resolution processes.
  • Comfortable interacting with internal teams, gathering requirements, and providing updates, even if technical details are escalated to senior team members.
  • Open to receiving training and guidance from more experienced team members, showing eagerness to expand their skill set.
  • Shows interest in understanding the broader ERP landscape and suggests minor improvements based on their interactions.
  • Ability to note down issues, resolutions, and steps in a clear manner to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Can manage their tasks effectively, ensuring they meet set timelines and prioritise according to guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Open to feedback, eager to adapt to new tools or methodologies, and comfortable in a dynamic environment where learning is constant.
