    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor for an Owners team vacancy working on a major Hydrogen project in Gladstone QLD.
    This is a Gladstone, QLD based role, 60-hour week (Mon-Fri), and a 10-month contract.

    Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating delivery of:

    • Earthworks and Site Drainage
    • Concrete Structures, including walls, slabs, footings and piles
    • Inground Utilities
    • Roads and Pavements
    • Finished Surfaces

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Coordination and facilitation of Contractor works, ensuring the scope is delivered to schedule and budget, including review of Contractor documentation and reporting, and attendance at regular Contractor meetings.
    • Work closely with the Environment and Approvals team to ensure contractor compliance.
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design changes, field reports, and correspondence.
    • Ensuring the work undertaken by the Construction Contractors meets the project expectations
    • Key interface for technical information between the Construction Contractor and the Designer

    Your Experience:

    • 10+ years' experience in project earthworks and concrete foundations site execution, either for the Contractor or Owner.
    • Experience in earthworks and civils for major capital projects in the renewables, oil & gas and mining preferred.
    • Effective interpersonal and communications skills and ability to problem-solve effectively.
    • Understanding of planning, scheduling and project controls.
    • The ideal candidate would be someone from the Gladstone area
