The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for delivering maintenance services in a Coles Distribution Centre. This service covers responsibility for undertaking general related repairs and maintenance.

The Maintenance Specialist manages this via a preventative maintenance program and is supported by City FM's systems and expertise in liaising with suppliers for the provision of quality reliable equipment.


KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Qualifications Possess a current driver's license
Experience/Expertise

  • Construction or Metal trades background
  • Good understanding of building fabric repairs

PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS

  • Intermittent and regular bending, lifting, kneeling, crouching in restricted and confined spaces, on various surfaces (i.e. concrete, etc.)
  • Undertake manual work including moving or lifting items, twisting or high repetitive tasks
  • Work above shoulder height which could include operating tools above shoulder heights
  • Work outdoors in heat, cold, wet and be able to manoeuvre equipment
  • Stand and work on feet for considerable periods of time during the day
  • Operate various pieces of equipment (e.g. drill, impact tools, etc) which includes rotating hand and arm movements, awkward positions and movements
  • Working at heights with appropriate lifting equipment
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (including facemask) as required by City's health & safety policies & procedures or Government directives
