About the Department:


Austin Health Pathology provide services to Austin Health and the co-located Mercy Hospital for Women, but also to numerous GPs and Specialists in the metropolitan and regional community.

Austin Health Pathology is currently expanding into the Hume, Loddon Mallee and Goulburn Valley areas of regional Victoria, with laboratories in Shepparton, Mildura, Echuca and Swan Hill, and a grwoing point-of-care network including Castlemaine, Kerang, Kyneton, Seymour, Kilmore, Cohuna and Kyabram.

Austin Health Pathology is committed to providing high quality patient care through routine and complex diagnostic services, expert advice and support for teaching and research.


About the role:

The
Quality Administrator provides support and management for the on-going maintenance of the Pathology Quality Management System database (Q-Pulse). Q-ulse manages all documents and records associated with the management of procedures, non-conformances, training, equipment, audits and suppliers

A regular day will see you:

  • Help users of Q-Pulse with any problems they may encounter
  • Setup new equipment or training events
  • Compile outstanding task lists and KPI reports

About you:


Ideally, you'll have:

  • A relevant degree in Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Applied Science
  • Demonstrated passion for quality, patient safety and risk management
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently, and in a team environment.
  • Sound understanding of the relevant standards for pathology accreditation
