Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI) was Australia's first dedicated paediatric research facility and is now one of the world's most highly regarded independent medical research organisations.

Our research focuses on the four key areas impacting children's health:
cancer, genomics and genetic diseases, neurobiology, and embryology.

Work with a team of dedicated professionals
We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team to:

Experience in cleaning in either a hospital, university or medical research environment.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team structure or unsupervised.
Be reliable, punctual, hardworking and well groomed.
Strong relationship and interpersonal skills.
Excellent planning and time management skills.
Ability to operate polishers and scrubbers beneficial, however not essential.
Cleaning and Sanitising: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces to ensure a clean and sanitised environment.
Bathroom and kitchenettes maintenance: Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and kitchenettes, restocking supplies like soap, paper towel and toilet paper.
Rubbish removal: Emptying rubbish bins and disposing of waste properly.
Building Maintenance: Notifying the facilities team about any maintenance or repair needs you come across during cleaning duties
Linen: Collection of used linen and storage of new linen
Other tasks as required for example function set up, pack up and post functions cleans.
Adhering to Regulations: In certain settings, cleaners need to follow specific guidelines related to health and safety, particularly in places like specialised sensitive research rooms or labs.

Salary:
$50,466.00 per year

Schedule:
