Description:
We are a Supply Nation Certified recruiting and advisory business specialising in professional talent acquisition and employment solutions across Australia.
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts & Payroll Officer on a part-time basis to join our vibrant team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Work with an external processor on weekly payroll cycles via the Astute payroll platform.
- Reconciliation and reporting of payrollrelated tasks, including Superannuation, PAYG, and Payroll Tax (S.A. and Interstate).
- Accounts payable duties, including processing supplier invoices, payment runs, reimbursements and account reconciliations.
- Reconciling bank statements within Xero.
- Completing and lodging PAYG, GST, IAS & BAS.
- Assistance with EOFY preparations.
Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years experience in an Accounts/Payroll role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
- Proficient in Xero and payroll systems (Astute preferred).
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Proficient in MS Office programs: Word, Excel & Outlook and apps.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
