About the role:


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Designer to support the design, development and delivery of an organisational priority project responding to the Royal Commission into the Management of Police Informants (RCMPI).

This project focuses on development of the training strategy for Victoria Police members regarding their disclosure responsibilities and obligations.


This is a high profile and complex project that requires the ability to develop engaging learning material and ensure the relationship between learning outcomes, assessment tasks and teaching activities are explicit, direct and aligned.

Reporting to the Learning Manager, you'll be working in a small team to deliver a quality product and achieving project outcomes.


This role will suit someone with a background in learning design, the ability to think outside the box, and meet deadlines in accordance with the project schedule.

Your duties will include:


  • Design and develop online learning programs.
  • Prepare clear and reliable briefing documents.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to design and develop content.
  • Evaluate content and learning objectives for pedagogical suitability.
  • Develop learning solutions that focus on improving learning quality.
  • Manage deliverables as per the project milestones.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations.

As the successful applicant, you will have:


  • Proven experience in learning design and development.
  • Experience in the development of storyboards.
  • Ability to consider innovative and flexible approaches to learning.
  • Ability to problem solve and work on multiple tasks within timeframes.
  • Excellent people and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances.
  • Attributes of a supportive and collaborative team member.
  • Certificate IV TAE will be highly regarded.
