The key accountabilities will include:

Management of Medicare denials - this involves troubleshooting and correcting claims that have been rejected due to administrative or process errors.

Business Process Improvement - this role is required to review and improve administrative processes for billing, develop documentation to support new processes, train staff and monitor the success of the changes.

Data Quality Management - this involves ensuring data quality standards are maintained by the billing team and ensuring data quality fixes are undertaken in a timely manner to comply with Lifehouse requirements.


What is required?

  • Demonstrated administration skills and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent organisational skills, including demonstrated time management skills, initiative and ability to make decisions
  • Demonstrable management experience of administrative staff
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate direct reports
  • Demonstrated record of accomplishment for improving process efficiencies and solving problems
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Systems and experience working with financial statements and general ledgers of a health organization
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and interpersonal skills
