- Permanent position
- Minimum 27 hours per week (option for additional hours by negotiation)
- Commencement 6 May, 2024
Essential Qualifications & Checks
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Austswim and /or ASCTA qualifications
- Pool Lifeguard / First Aid and or willingness to obtain
- Valid Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable Persons (RWVP)
- Current criminal history check (dated within 3 months of issue)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience in working with all ages
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in the Aquatic Industry
- Experience in customer service and ability to perform general administration tasks
- Positive, cando attitude
- Ability to display initiative and work without supervision
- Adaptable to change
- An outstanding work ethic

Forming part of the St Michael's Collegiate Anglican school for girls, Collegiate Pool is a 25m, six-lane, heated indoor pool located on the corner of Molle & Davey Street in the city of Hobart, Tasmania.
The Pool is open seven day's per week offering:
- Learn to Swim
- Lap Swimming
- Fitness
- Squad training options

Conditions of Employment
Our organisation undertakes several screening processes to ensure the appropriate protection of children in its care. This includes reference checks, qualification checks and professional registration checks.
It is conditional of employment that the successful applicant:
- Hold a current Tasmanian Working With Vulnerable Persons check (RWVP)
- Gain a satisfactory National Police clearance (within 3 months of issue)
- Be authorised to work in Australia
- Be prepared to undertake mandatory child safety training
