Pathology Collector | North Sydney

North Sydney location
Monday-Friday
8am1pm (25 hours/week)

- $32.75/hour + super

The Company
Our client is a reputable Pathology service provider, with a national presence within the Australian market. With a central laboratory in Darlinghurst and 25 clinics across metro Sydney and regional NSW.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

-
_Hands on venepuncture experience_ is essential for a minimum of 6 months unsupervised
not including placement hours:

Collection of blood and other samples from patients
Experience in ECG's and Holter monitors
Processing of Pathology Specimens
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Clerical duties and basic IT skills
Highlevel communication skills with colleagues and patients
Ability to provide dedication to patient care
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
Comply with Work Health and Safety

About You

Eligible to work within Australia
Sponsorship is not available
Possess a current driver's licence, WWC Check & Police Clearance
Obtained a Cert 3 in Pathology Collection
A clear and patient communicator

Experience in blood collection (at least 6 months in Australia):

Have a positive attitude
Have a passion for Pathology Collection

Have a flexible approach to work and availability and be prepared to be deployed at different locations
