About the Role


Reporting to the Manager, Community you'll lead a dedicated team of Support Workers and partner with Management to support efficient service delivery.

These exciting roles will see you champion the lives of people living with a disability and support Aruma's strategic and operational goals.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Willingness to travel where required
  • Min 3 years working in Disability services or equivalent care environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualification i.e.
Cert III Individual Support or equivalent industry experience

  • Sound knowledge of human rightsbased approaches and personcentred care
  • Ability to lead and mentor and develop teams
  • Intermediate MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NDIS funding model and processes (desirable)

Must haves

  • Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • National Police Check
  • A confirmation record of COVID19 vaccination (dose 1 & 2 + booster)
