    The Company
    Our client is an established producer in thepoultry sectorproducing some chickens annually, this includes bothfree rangeandbroilerfarms.
    They were born out of an investment culture and have theirpeople, land and animalsat the heart of their operation.

    Due to continued success and the growth of the business, we are now searching for an experienced and capableFarm Managerto join their team on the farm along theMurray river in Blanchetown, SA.

    The Role

    As the Farm Manager your primary objective will be tosupport the entire farmthrough decisive and efficientmanagement of the day to day operations.


    Your duties will involve the following:

    • Ensuring meticulousanimal welfareand well being
    • Adhering toCompany, RSPCAandclient standards
    • Continuous improvementof the farm and systems
    • Meetingproduction targetsand flock yields
    • Leading, coachingand mentoring staff
    • Feed systems management,including feed lines and water supply
    • Ventilation system monitoringand management
    • Implementing companystandards, KPI's, safety and culture
    • Reviewingfinancial performance, waste, labour cost and yields
    You
    To be successful in the role, you will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

    • Related formalagri or frontline qualificationwould be an advantage
    • Demonstrabletrack recordin a similar farm/livestock position
    • An assistant farm manager wanting to take thenext stepin their career will be considered
    • High level of competency in industry standards andanimal husbandry
    • Exemplarycommunicationboth written and verbal
    • An understanding ofdata collection,analysis and interpretation
    • SKOV / Cobb Vantressknowledge and experience would be an advantage.
