Our client is on the lookout for a Category Manager to champion a line of products, maintain business goals and boost customer satisfaction.

My client is a reputable producer of innovative, trusted products in the outdoor consumer industry. They design, engineer and manufacture industry-leading equipment that inspires adventure.

Role and Responsibilities**- Craft portfolio strategies (positioning, pricing, promotion) for optimal growth

Uncover customer needs and trends to keep the product marketaligned
Collaborate across teams to launch new offerings and features
Prioritise product roadmaps based on customer needs and business goals
Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to endoflife, including product development, launch, and postlaunch support
Optimise product success with datadriven insights on performance
Manage portfolio budgets to meet financial targets
Communicate product updates and strategy to stakeholders

Your Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a relevant field (MBA a plus)
Minimum 5 years of experience in product management/ portfolio management role
Strategic Acumen: Translate customer insights into winning portfolio strategies

Leverage analytics to optimise portfolio performance

Functional Collaboration:
Lead and inspire diverse teams to deliver successful product launches within the portfolio
