Position Description and Responsibilities
Proactively drive sales growth through existing enterprise customers and develop new sales opportunities. Provide internal support around the onboarding of new customers and new work process. Administrative and SAP support as required to support the sales process.

  • Manage a contact call plan to generate new leads (
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with customers
  • Establish and maintain customer call frequency based on customer spend and order frequency.
  • Perform relevant background research on customer accounts
  • Monitor and review sales against budget for this category
  • This role is to be an officebased sales role
  • Support other departments such as customer service or site administration when necessary.
  • Provide a level of support to sales team to allow them maximise time in front of customer
  • Support the onboarding of new customers, the new work process, quoting, artwork etc.
  • Maintain salesforce database (CRM) with relevant information regarding new leads and customer intelligence.
  • Manage SAP MD requests for sales team.
  • Provide SAP reports as requested by sales team.
  • Provide reports regarding role activities, milestones & outcomes as requested.
  • Attend sales meetings and support the administration of these meetings ie minutes

Experience Required

  • Experience working in a sales or customer service team environment
  • Qualifications in sales or customer service preferred however not essential
  • Strong communication & customer service skills
  • Proven experience developing relationships with client/customers
  • Solid planning and organisation skills
  • Excellent phone manner and written communications
  • Positive and enthusiastic manner
  • Computer literacy including MS Suite of products
  • Analytical skills
  • Experience in FMCG would be advantageous as would experience using a CRM (Customer relationship management)
  • Role would suit an applicant looking for a future development opportunity towards account or sales management through promotion
