Our client, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for a 6 month contract with long term extensions, with the possibility of becoming a permanent part of their team.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide leadership in the promotion of facility management strategies, methodologies and processes.
  • Ensures contractors and delivery teams are managed effectively.
  • Provide high level policy advice to Senior Management on project matters including risks, issues and trends.
  • Provides strategic advice to various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan and develop maintenance programs and maintenance projects.
  • Undertake development and planning activities.
  • Develop and manage maintenance projects including detailed programming and project implementation within budget and timeframes.
  • Work within accordance of Policies, Procedures and relevant Work Health and Safety and Equal Opportunity Legislation.

You will have:


  • Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of facilities management and maintenance projects.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Current "C" or "C.A." class drivers' licence.
  • Current knowledge of legislation
  • Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Work Safety.
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or training in a relevant discipline or progress towards same is desirable but not essential.
**You will need to be based in Perth with full working rights for this contract
