Our client, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for a 6 month contract with long term extensions, with the possibility of becoming a permanent part of their team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in the promotion of facility management strategies, methodologies and processes.
- Ensures contractors and delivery teams are managed effectively.
- Provide high level policy advice to Senior Management on project matters including risks, issues and trends.
- Provides strategic advice to various internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan and develop maintenance programs and maintenance projects.
- Undertake development and planning activities.
- Develop and manage maintenance projects including detailed programming and project implementation within budget and timeframes.
- Work within accordance of Policies, Procedures and relevant Work Health and Safety and Equal Opportunity Legislation.
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of facilities management and maintenance projects.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Current "C" or "C.A." class drivers' licence.
- Current knowledge of legislation

- Tertiary qualifications and/or training in a relevant discipline or progress towards same is desirable but not essential.
