Position Overview:
The Lead Project Scheduler is a crucial member of the Project Management Team at EOS Defence Systems. You will collaborate closely with technical experts, project leaders, and managers to plan, create, and oversee project schedules. This role involves managing the Master Schedule, aiding in setting up the EVM system, and handling one or more project schedules as assigned.
Primary Duties:
- Develop, monitor, and analyze project schedules, master schedule, and EVM system following project best practices
- Track, analyze, and report information to support project management and assess weekly reports
- Ensure project schedule accuracy and version control
- Coordinate project schedules, tasks, updates, and report distribution efficiently
- Establish, implement, and monitor scopes of work using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for control
- Monitor project progress, identify critical activities, review forecasts, and track achievements
- Track baselines, perform what-if analysis, and create contingency plans
- Coordinate with different departments to address project issues, monitor action items, and ensure resolutions
- Follow and execute directives from higher management

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools like MS Project or Open Plan Professional
- Strong attention to detail
- Capability to work independently
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Experience
- Three or more years of experience in schedule development, project management, and Earned Value Management (EVM) is highly valuable
- Project management qualifications are a plus
