The Westin Melbourne is looking for a
Duty Manager to join the Front Office team on a
Full-Time basis.


About The Role

  • Intervenes in any guest/employee situation as needed to insure the integrity of the property is maintained, guest satisfaction is achieved, and employee well being is preserved.
  • Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
  • Provides immediate assistance to guests as requested.
  • Serves as a leader in displaying outstanding hospitality skills.
  • Sets a positive example for guest relations.
  • Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints along with Hotel emergency situations
  • Ensures employees understand customer service expectations and parameters.
  • Oversees the Hotel during shift, in the absence of Hotel leadership team
  • Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be a relied upon and trusted member of the Front Office team

To Be Successful in This Role

  • A warm, peopleoriented demeanour
  • A gift for paying attention to the smallest details
  • Experience in a similar role for min 2 years, with experience in a luxury property highly desired
  • Experience with Hotel PMS systems, with Opera experience highly desired
