u&u Recruitment Partners are proud to be partnering with one of Queensland's largest employers to recruit an experienced Environments and Release Manager.

This is an initial 8-month day rate contract based in Brisbane's CBD with great work from home options available (3 days in office / 2 from home)


The goal is to have a key resource responsible for collaborating, communicating, documenting and eliciting requirements and details for all releases and environments in scope to the program.

Managing, coordinating, engaging with key stakeholders and delivery teams, including in squad release managers / admins, to support coordinated delivery including:

Data migration;
End to end integrations;
Application configuration;
Deployments; and

Engagement with BAU Change and Release management teams, including TAG, CAB forums.


The role will also assist with reporting of delivery to stakeholders as required, including critical path dependencies, milestones, risks and issues.

Proven experience in developing and implementing release management frameworks across development, test and production environments;
Strong collaborator and work together with other technical teams to deliver projects whilst effectively negotiating release timelines to meet business expectations within budget and timelines;
Strong communication skills and facilitate timely and regular communication on key project plans;
Strong project management skills that allow you to competently manage projects and interdependencies to ensure deliverables are met;
Strong experience in SCRUM and Agile methodologies;
Works across architecture and technology team to document environments requirements for the program;
Defines and documents Release approach with domain leads;
Coordinates with Transition Manager, Test Manager and Engagement and Adoption Lead to progress technology readiness and parallel planning considerations for release management;
Delivers release schedule and coordinates with OCM to set expectations during roll out plan; and

Defines SIT, UAT and Training environments and needs.
