We're looking for a QA Lab Technician to join our Manufacturing team at Philips Dynalite.

As a QA Technician you'll be responsible for setting up, programming, operation and basic maintenance of the Surface Mount and Through Hole line.

You will also enjoy the opportunity to work in other roles within the Manufacturing area as demand requires including, testing, programming and electronic assembly.

What you'll do

Assist and support in the daily running of SMT & TH line ensuring Quality KPI's & throughput targets are being met.
Tune Automated Optical Inspection station after SMT placement to fully optimize line to ensure mínimal rework.
Keep the measurement equipment in the right condition by maintenance, repair, and calibration.
Participate in quality activities and report performance, off target KPI's and suggest improvement opportunities.
Ensure safety, order, and cleanliness in the Factory area (LEAN and 6S).
Actively participate in continuous improvements initiatives within a LEAN environment.

Your qualifications

5 years + experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
Cert IV or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics from TAFE or equivalent or higher.
Familiar with IPC Standards for Electronics Assemblies & ability to solder, rework & repair PCA's to IPC Standards.
Experience with electronic components and assembly and diagnosing circuits.
Able to read and interpret circuit diagrams
Fault Finding.
Proficient with Microsoft Office package
Word, Excel etc.
Sound communication skills with ability to follow clear instructions and perform a high quality of work.
