  • Casual Hourly Rate: $45 $50 p/h + Super
  • 6 month contract with up to 12 months extension

ABOUT THE COMPANY.


Based in ACT, work for a Federal Government Agency that promotes and protects Australia's international interests to support our security and prosperity.


ABOUT THE POSITION.
An initial 6 month contract, with the view for 2 x 6 month extensions.

Your team is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to work in collaboration with the Executive Officer to manage the office and diaries of the team's SES Officers in the Diplomatic Security Division (DSD).


DUTIES.

  • Coordinate and prepare meeting briefs, minutes and correspondence
  • Manage office systems and records using Microsoft Office, SAP, PDMS and TRIM
  • Undertake research and analysis to support project

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

  • Experience within a personal assistant or executive assistant position
  • Government experience (highly regarded)
  • Customer centric approach with confidence in dealing with stakeholders
  • High level of interpersonal skills and a 'proactive' approach to work
  • High level of demonstrated organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Handling sensitive information with tact and discretion, maintaining confidentiality
