Description

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker Assembler Welder to join our team at our Dandenong South facility. This hands-on role requires a motivated individual with a commitment to safety and a drive for success. The position offers a
9-day fortnight schedule and a competitive market-based salary, dependent on experience and qualifications.
This is opportunity may lead to permanent full-time.

Salary:
$52.07 per hour

Monday to Friday 6.30am - 3.30pm on-going role

RDO once a fortnight

Must undergo pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol analysis, musculoskeletal evaluation, and hearing test.

Key Responsibilities:

Construct framework sections using metal and other materials.
Assemble sections using welding, bolting, screwing, and riveting techniques.
Cut and shape sheet metal, aluminum, and reinforced plastic panels.
Modify assembly line vehicles to meet specific requirements.
Prepare and install vehicle trim work.
Perform plastic repair and panel painting.
Attach door trims, rubber seals, locks, and handles.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Qualifications and Experience:

Certificate III or IV in Engineering (Fabrication) or equivalent
Previous experience in vehicle manufacturing or coach body building is highly desirable.
Experience in chassis construction, fabrication, and sheet metal work is advantageous.
