About the role


The role of this position is to perform part of the accounts receivable function and other selected accounting and computing functions of the finance department.

Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Processing of the organisation's centralised Accounts Receivable function in the CIM database which includes:
  • Establishment of billing records and allocation of cost centres for new Residential Aged Care Facility residents, with reference to the information as provided by onsite site clerks.
  • Establishment of resident records for residents of RFU/RLU sites
  • Complete resident/client billing corrections as necessary
  • Updating of billing records when changes in daily fees and other required fees occur, i.e. legislated changes in fees, income tested adjustments
  • Generating of periodic billings for Residential Aged Care Facility and Retirement Villages as per schedules
  • Receipting of monies received in the Corporate Office for banking including posting to required accounts in CIM & Dynamics GP
  • Verification of banking summaries received from sites to bank statements and maintaining an audit trail of receipt numbers and follow up on any discrepancies
  • Processing of month end rollover function and printing of month end reports
  • Assist with end of month reporting

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple systems concurrently
  • Strong Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to multitask and work towards tight deadlines
