Introduction:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Cert III Educator to join our unique, amazing organisation.


We have an exciting opportunity for experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Educators to join our new Budawang Early Childhood Centre based in Milton.

This purpose-designed service is equipped to accommodate up to year old children in an open plan, light-filled centre surrounded by greenery and with free-flowing access to newly landscaped outdoor play spaces and will be open Monday to Friday from 7am-6pm.


As an Educator, you will work closely alongside the Director and entire team, to provide for the education and care needs of the children and families accessing this service.


You will:

- develop strong, positive, responsive relationships with the children, whilst contributing to play-based holistic learning programs meeting each child's individual needs.
- actively develop transparent and caring partnerships with families to work towards developing and achieving shared goals for children.
- be a positive role model, active contributor and engaged collaborative leader amongst the team


Delivering quality care and education, while upholding the Centre's philosophy and best practice policies and procedures are at the forefront of your decision making, all while committing to continuous improvement and innovation.


Description:


To be successful, you will have:

  • Ability to engage children in activities which are responsive and tailored to their interests and abilities.
  • Ability to develop appropriate and sustained relationships with children.
  • Demonstrated awareness of the rights of the child.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated awareness of mandatory reporting obligations.
  • Ability to follow directions and undertake tasks at all levels.

Desirable Experience:


  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010.
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training.
  • Food Safety, Handling and Hygiene training.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law, Regulations and Standards.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework

Skills and Experiences:


CRCS also requires all employees to:

  • Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
  • Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
  • Maintain full COVID19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
