    About the role

    As Supply Chain Engineering Lead, you will provide high level technical expertise and supervision in relation to supply chain management engineering services for engineering projects for the company. You will also be responsible for:

    • Providing technical expertise and leadership support to team members
    • Management of small projects within your discipline as required.
    • Developing repair, spares and warehouse strategies based upon a combination of risk analysis and proven experience, providing clear, concise and accurate reports / recommendations to clients;
    • Maintain an up to date knowledge of materials management best practices and statutory requirements, through appropriate means, i.e., review of periodicals, attendance at conferences/user groups, etc;
    • Demonstrable involvement in developing repair, spares and warehouse strategies based upon a combination of industry experience;
    • Practical experience and understanding of master data management, materials data structure, ISO 22745, and ISO 8000;
    • Providing guidance, leadership and technical support and expertise within your discipline;

    The Person

    You will ideally have at least 7 years of experience with a background in hydrocarbons, manufacturing, mining environments or heavy industries with a proven capability to deliver quality outcomes to project timelines, with the following attributes:

    • Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent trade and experience;
    • 15 + years' experience in the industry or recognised as an industry specialist;
    • Demonstrated experience leading teams of materials and inventory specialists;
    • Working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and Australian standards;
    • CPEng and/or RPEQ Status (Preferred);
