Be challenged and imagine with us:

As the Administration Officer for the School's Research & Innovation team, you will provide high quality administrative support to staff and Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students within the School of Nursing and Midwifery, with a particular focus on supporting research initiatives.


In this role you will:

  • Support HDR students with purchasing, financial reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Provide administrative support for HDR processes such as enrolments and confirmations.
  • Assist with event organisation for seminars, workshops, the HDR Festival Week, and the Annual Research Symposium.
  • Provide committee meeting support for the Research Committee.
  • Answer HDR student queries and provide support where needed.
  • Respond to other research related enquiries efficiently and effectively.
  • This fixed term position is part time (Tuesday's & Wednesdays, parental leave cover_ _until July '24) and will be located at either Callaghan Campus or the Central Coast Clinical School Gosford

  • Strong communication skills including the ability to professionally liaise with a range of diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to stay organised, maintain a high level of attention to detail, and work to competing deadlines.
  • Experience with university financial accounting systems isn't essential but would be beneficial.

What we offer:

The remuneration for this position is from $71,298 pro-rated + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
