UniSQ International is responsible for the design and delivery of the University's International strategy encompassing international relations, international student recruitment, academic pathways, research and research training collaborations, transnational collaborations and strategic partnerships, in collaboration with UniSQ faculties and key portfolios.


As a Global Education Program Officer, you will join our Global Education Program (GEP) team which is a small, yet high achieving team who are responsible for overseeing outbound mobility opportunities for UniSQ students, facilitating inbound study abroad and exchange applicants from partner universities, and developing and delivering on campus or hybrid, study tours.

What you'll do


Reporting to the Senior Global Education Program Officer, you will support the Global Education Program team to recruit and nurture study abroad students and assist with the development, delivery and facilitation of inbound study tour programs.


Your initial key priorities will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining a Toowoomba focused homestay program specifically for study tour students;
  • Working with the admissions team to streamline and delineate the communication touch points for inbound study abroad students;
  • Developing and delivering structured activities which contribute to the student experience; and
  • Implementing a project management system to oversee the lead times and deliverables for GEP's inbound and outbound short terM/Facultyled programs that ensure successful outcomes for the delivery of the program.

What will help you succeed
Together with your relevant qualifications and experience in a customer service role, your ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds will be key to your success in this role


You will also have:

  • Excellent problemsolving skills and an ability to prioritise your work activities to meet established deadlines; and
  • An ability to work autonomously as well as a member of a team providing assistance on short notice when study tours are on campus.
