To support this journey, we require a Finance Officer - Accounts Payable to join our Finance team based in Nudgee.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices, resolution of invoices and payment queries and manage accounts payable month-close and reconciliations.

This role is a full-time opportunity with flexible working hours.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain new supplier requests/change of details Master File.
  • Prepare accurate and timely Payment runs, including sending remittances on completion.
  • Process invoices including petty cash and employee reimbursements (includes coding).
  • Use the relevant Purchase Order system, match invoices to purchase orders raised. This includes actively rectifying any issues that may arise during this process, in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal customers to ensure that any creditor problems are rectified in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Supplier account reconciliations and assist with credit card administration.
  • End of Month AP reconciliation and communication when ready to close.
  • Tasks as assigned by the Senior Finance Officer
  • Accounts Payable or by the Finance Manager.

About you
You will have a strong background in accounts payable processing, ideally within a high-volume transactional environment.

You will have outstanding accuracy and attention to detail; as well as the ability to work autonomously but also be an active team member.

Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, are key in this customer facing role. Demonstrated IT systems including database management, ERP systems (Technology One Desirable), MS Word and Excel.
