MannaCare is a community based not-for-profit organisation which supports older people living in the Eastern region. We provide a range of services, including Residential Aged Care, Community, and Home Care.

About the role

We are currently seeking Catering Assistants, to join our friendly and professional team at MannaCare, in our Residential Services kitchens.

_ Who are we looking for?_

Certificate in Food Handling
A practical understanding of catering and nutrition needs of older adults in residential care
Ability to comply with safe work practices and food handling practices
Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
Basic kitchen knowledge and experience
Ability to read and interpret dietary information
Experience in Aged Care food service
Knowledge and understanding of Person Centred Care
Familiarity with basic computer programs
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
Current Police Check
