Your new position is responsible for the management of

company's accounts payable and receivable, and general administrative duties. Reporting to the Administration Manager you will be responsible for all accounts/bookkeeping related duties including

payment of bills, invoice creation and record management, reconciling accounts, and other tasks related to bookkeeping. The scope of this service will extend to

general administrative support, office management and project support where required.


Your Main Responsibilities are as follows;

  • Process payments of invoices and ensure expenses are reconciled in a timely manner via the
    Xero financial system
:

Manage accounts receivable including preparing, sending and storing invoices
via Xero, as well as reconciling payments and following up unpaid invoices.

  • Maintain
    efficient client services and provide support to administration staff.
  • Receive and verify bills and requisitions for goods and services.

Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets.

  • Assist with payroll and employee management functions.
  • Assist with
    ensuring accurate project related time and expense tracking and management.
  • Assist the Administrative Manager and Principal Engineers as required with adhoc administration duties.
  • Maintain
    compliance of Certification to ISO 9001:2015, AS/NZS 45001:2008 and ISO 14001:2015; training will be provided where required

  • Maintain and update filing systems (hard copy and electronic) to ensure information is well organised and readily accessible, with appropriate security and version control.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Desirable qualifications in accounting, business, administration, bookkeeping or similar.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position.

  • Preferably
    experience working with Xero preferred or ability to learn.
