In partnership with the Australia Defence Force, we are seeking
Front of House Leading Hands to join the team at
HMAS Cerberus at the Royal Australian Navy base.

HMAS Cerberus is a dynamic environment and is responsible for the largest output of meals served to Defence personnel ranging from 50, ,000 meals per month.

Your previous hospitality experience, strong work ethic and willingness to learn will hold you in good stead. The Chef manager and the Catering and Hospitality team look forward to you joining the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise day to day mess and bar operations
Support and participate in the implementation of Ventia's Food Safety Program
Support the Hospitality and Catering team
Monitor staff uniform and grooming standards
Assist with basic food preparation

Skills and Experience:

Sound knowledge of Food Safety standards
Experience in delivering food & beverage services
Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service
Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability work in a team

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
