- Previous exposure to retirement village contracts; and

We are currently seeking a Lawyer, wit to join our Corporate Health & Aged Care team in our Brisbane office. This role will suit an experienced lawyer with a particular focus on health, aged care, and retirement village clients in both the private and public sectors. The right candidate will be comfortable working within a highly regulated industry across advisory and transactional matters, and will enjoy dealing directly with clients.
This position will report to and work directly with partners who specialise in the health, aged care, and retirement village industries.
Requirements:
We're looking for a candidate with the ability and confidence to work directly and independently with top quality clients. You will be a solutions-focused, commercially astute and well-rounded lawyer. During your career you will have developed strong technical skills, attention to detail, and exceptional communication and organisational skills. You will also have solid analytical and drafting skills, and demonstrate a commitment to building strong client relationships and helping to drive the growth of a practice.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in corporate and commercial advice and transactions in this sector. Additionally you will have experience in contract development and negotiation for outsourcing, research, infrastructure and procurement. Experience with clinical trials is desirable.
