Construction Manager | DIDO to Eneabba (2 hrs North of Perth) | 10:4 roster


Position specific responsibilities and requirements:


  • Ensure safe execution of all works associated with assigned package.
  • Play an active role in the development of the safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed.
  • Monitor and manage interfaces, project schedule.
  • Stand in as the Registered Mine manager as required.
  • Manage site team and contractors to ensure that they adhere to the Construction.
  • Monitor and report inclusion and diversity progress and compliance.
  • Coordinate the site team and contractor's participation in field leadership and safety pauses.
  • Monitor the contractor's site establishment activities.
  • Implement and manage critical control verifications (CCVs).
  • Manage all shutdown planning, preparation and execution activities.
  • Oversee interface management with site functions and contract packages.

Position required competencies and skills:


  • Experience in a similar role on a large scale multibillion dollar project
  • Experience working in a fast pace environment in the Mining Industry.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team.

Position required qualifications:


  • Trade or engineering qualification preferably with project management training.

Position desired experience, competencies and qualifications:

  • 15+ years heavy industry construction execution experience
  • Field and multidiscipline execution experience
