About the opportunity


We're seeking an Industrial Relations Project Specialist to support our Head of Employee Relations deliver and manage multiple enterprise agreement bargaining projects on a 6-month maximum term contract.

It's an exciting time to be part of our team at Bolton Clarke, with work that creates a real impact to our people.

This role could also be suited to someone looking to grow their skillset from an HR Business Partnering role into Industrial Relations for bargaining immersion experience.


The scope of work is responsible for:

  • Enterprise agreement bargaining administration and coordination
  • Drafting clauses, competitor analysis and response to union claims
  • Document control to support employee briefings
  • Acting as liaison with unions and union delegates
  • Providing advice on enterprise agreement negotiation matters
  • Monitor IR trends in the workforce to embed in relevant policy and practice
  • Providing insights from awards, industrial instruments, and employment entitlements data

About you
You can engage and collaborate with anyone, from our internal stakeholders to union representatives, your previous experience in supporting IR/ER activities would see you thrive in this role, along with:

  • Significant experience in an IR, ER or Business Partnering role.
  • Tertiary qualification in Industrial Relations, Human Resources or related field.
  • Working knowledge of IR/ER legislation in Federal and State jurisdictions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exposure to project and program management (desirable).
