Description

Our client, a well-established supplier of process and heating equipment across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific, is seeking an Engineer or mechanically minded individual to join their dedicated team.

Celebrating 100 years of industry experience next year, they are recognized as a leader in their field. This opportunity is based at their Eastern Suburbs facility.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to customer inquiries, understanding their requirements, and offering appropriate solutions.
Act as a technical expert on the organisation's products and services, assisting customers in selecting the right solutions to meet their needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and crossselling.
Prepare accurate and detailed quotations, proposals, and sales contracts.

Provide engineering services on projects, ensuring adherence to specifications and industry standards.

Prepare general arrangement drawings and detail drawings as required.

Manage the preparation, fulfilment, and storage of build lists for efficient project execution.

Prepare customized manuals to meet customer requirements.
Monitor, review, and coordinate design and fabrication works to ensure timely completion.
Offer technical support to both internal and external customers, addressing their inquiries effectively.

Requirements:

Degree qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred but not essential.
Proven experience in engineering and design, with a focus on process equipment preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD 3D or similar design software preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
Selfdriven and capable of working independently, while also being a team player.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective technical support and guidance over the phone.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong desire to learn and develop own skills so not afraid to ask for guidance if required.

Salary:
$60, $75,000.00 per year
